How to childproof your living room
We have children’s in each and every house but do you know how many of us take care to childproof our living areas to avoid accidents with children’s. Many of us don’t even know how to childproof our houses. Childproofing means making all the dangerous things out of reach of children’s. Sometimes we don’t do this and pay it by facing heavy accidents and even death sometimes. Lets see what we can do to save our child from small accidents while playing in living room or any part of our house.

Electric devices, wires and sockets are everywhere in house, first of all Cover all electrical outlets with childproof outlet covers. By doing this we will save our child from electric current or any other mishap due to electricity when we are not around.
Heavy plants or center pieces should be placed at height so that child could not get it or pull it on himself.
There are corner guards available in the market for tables with sharp edges, place corner guards to avoid any cut or wound.
Glass tabletops can break and hence, not good for areas where kids play, use material which is unbreakable.
We generally use large painting and artifacts in our living rooms, make sure they are properly hanged and are not coming out. Have a safety expert secure bookshelves, wall units and other dangerous items to the wall.
Doors of living rooms should always be closed to avoid children’s going outside unattended.
There are many decorative items which has chocking hazards like pebbles or small decorative balls, this should not be used in the house of children.
Living room is a very common place and we can easily find kids playing there but after caring about the safety, there is no harm for the kids to play in living room or any other part of the house.
