  • First of all Rugs does the work of separating areas very well so its the best thing to separate the living room and dining areas beautifully.
  • Be very careful with the size of the rug as if two rugs of same size will be used in a room it can cut your room in a a half visually.
  • Always follow a colour scheme while placing any rugs in your room otherwise too different shade can ruin the whole look of your room.
  • Rug has a very strong quality of giving volume or even quiten the room. Great combination work great, I mean if your walls are patterned or have wallpapers on it, go for subtle patterns on the other hand plain walls can be best accompanied with patterned rug.
  • One of the tips is to use the colour of your focal painting in your living room and try to match it up with your rug somewhere in the base.
  • Using rug only on the floor sometimes doesn’t work so it can be hanged  on the wall as a painting too.
  • Shape of the rug also matters a lot hence, match the shape with your sofa or chairs. The decision like Rug should be square, round or rectangle should be carefully taken.
  • Always keep the size of the rug around 3 feet smaller in length and width of the room. Making it more handy and convenient to use.
  • Runners should be 4 inches narrower than your hallway and 18 to 24 inches shorter.
  • If rug is sleepery or very thin, use Liner to avoid slipping or creeping.
